Mr. Tomaino (or “Mr. T”) loves investigating and interrogating the history of the United States. He has the pleasure of teaching 10th graders at BGA in a humanities course covering the late 19th century to the present. Mr. T completed his teacher training at Gardner Pilot Academy in Allston and Boston College, where he was a Donovan Urban Teaching Scholar. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. T earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and worked for several years as a sustainable (green) investing analyst, a researcher on political campaigns, and a podcast producer. Mr. T was born in Mexico City and raised in central New York. He loves running, Celtics basketball, and his “supermutt” dog Piper.
