Lauren Kelton, Social Worker

Ms. Kelton is a founding social worker at Boston Green Academy. In her role as student support counselor, Ms. Kelton supports the social-emotional needs of students and works closely with families and community providers to make sure that each student has a network of support to help them achieve academic success. Prior to her arrival at BGA, Ms. Kelton worked for the city of Boston for over 10 years performing social work in various capacities, always with children and families. Ms. Kelton earned her Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Spanish from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia and her Masters degree in Social Work from Salem State College. When not working to support the students and families of BGA, Ms. Kelton enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling. Get in touch here
