Aimee Van Wagenen, ELA Teacher

Before arriving at BGA, Dr. Van taught at Boston Arts Academy, UMass Boston, Boston College, and Central Connecticut State University. She has also managed operations and administration at The Fenway Institute of Fenway Health, a research and education center dedicated to improving health and well-being for LGBT people. Dr. Van earned a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, a Master’s degree from UMass Boston, and a PhD from Boston College. In her spare time, Dr. Van likes to hike in and around Boston with her dogs, find new photography projects while learning new techniques, and read. Get in touch here
