Jamie Lyon, Science Teacher, Middle School

Jamie Lyon comes from Milford, MA and is a middle school science teacher at BGA. He studied anthropology and geoscience at UMass Amherst and education with the Boston Teacher Residency program. He is especially passionate about environmental science and ecology - he even lived in the woods for 6 months! He really likes to travel and has lived in some other cool places too, like South Korea and McMurdo Station, Antarctica. When he isn't sharing stories from these experiences with students, he likes to be long-distance hiking in the mountains and is also known to juggle from time to time (under his tutelage BGA now boasts 10 proficient middle school jugglers!). email
