(She, Her, Hers)
Tricia Smith.jpg

Ms. Smith serves as a middle school special educator here at Boston Green Academy. Prior to discovering her passion for secondary education, Ms. Smith began her teaching career in early childhood education. Growing up just outside of Boston, she earned her A.A. from Middlesex Community College, her B.A. in English and Psychology from Salem State University, and her M.Ed from Lesley University. As part of her undergraduate experience, Ms. Smith interned at the Walden Woods Project in Concord, MA, where she traversed the crossroads of literature, nature, and environmental activism. Most recently, Ms. Smith has completed a post-graduate certification program from the Lesley Institute for Trauma Sensitivity (LIFTS). In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys volunteering with various nonprofits, exploring new places with her camera, boxing, spending time with loved ones (preferably by the ocean), and curling up with a good book (with her cat usually right by her feet!).
