  • Curriculum: Machine Learning, Bias Investigation, Ethics & AI, The Future of AI, AI Career Paths

  • Program Partners: MIT Media Lab

 

Ron Burton Training Village - STEM Journey Program (Girls Only): https://www.westeamahead.org/rbtv

  • 2020-2021 Program Kickoff: August 23, 2020

  • Free, year-round program based on virtual learning and interactive field trips with S.T.E.M. companies

  • Accepting Girls in rising 6th - 11th grade 

  • Curriculum: Every year there is a different S.T.E.M. Theme

    • S.T.E.M. Journey Theme for 2020 is Zero Hunger

      • The girls will work throughout the year to examine this theme from all sides, looking at the effects of earth sciences, farming technologies, food distribution, and community awareness. 

  • Program Partners: Amazon, Reebok, Waters Corp., Raytheon, Northeastern Univ., Wentworth Institute of Tech., Bose, Mass Maritime

  • Program Dates: July 06, 2020 - Aug. 07, 2020

  • Free, 5-week, virtual, enrichment summer day program

  • Accepting Rising 6th & 7th grade students

  • Curriculum: Coding, Math, S.T.E.A.M. Projects: (1) Music & Entrepreneurship (2) Food & S.T.E.M. and (3) Advance AI with MIT Media Lab

  • Program Partners: MIT, Google
